There was always a conflict between two homelands.​

Between the identity they each gave,

was an indecisive and self-loathing

I.

Even in pain, it wants to live.​

Preferably happy.​​

​

Britain, Japan, India, societies

always form two powers in some way or another.​

​

Power to Build

that actively, physically changes the world.

​​

Power to Dissolve

that lets the infinite world of dreams prevail.

​

To offer these two powers through painting,

and in its process, giving healing and strength

to many who are tired of living in this modern world,

is what I consider to be my mission as a painter.
